GoMap 2.8.1 Released
Ismet Dumlupinar
posted on May 16, 2007 04:29
GoMap provides Google Maps integration to DotNetNuke portals. GoMap 2.8.1 has finally released. Most important thing was
Medium Trust
issue for me. And i am glad they say that, it will work on Medium Trust environments. The previous version of GoMap (GoMap 2.2) had some problems and bugs with DotNetNuke 4.4.x and DotNetNuke 4.5.x. Now these problems are fixed and Gomap also provides new profile structure.
I haven't tested it yet. Hopefully i will test new release this weekend.

Now that I have downloaded the files, how do I install it into dotnetnuke?

Hi Chuck, installation is easy like other module installations. Simply log on as host user, and navigate to Host > Module Definitions > Install (Upload) a New Module.
If this method does not work, upload zip package to FTP server's /Install/module directory. And browse
http://compassprep.org/Install/Install.aspx?mode=InstallResources.aspx
It should install correctly with both methods. Let me know if you need any help.
